What should I expect during the interview process?

First of all, don't be too nervous. We don't bite! After you have submitted the application, you may be invited to a face-to-face interview. As a Christian community, we want to ensure that you will be a good fit for us and that we will be a good fit for you. The face-to-face interview will consist of two parts: a 15-minute singing session (info below) followed by a brief interview. The whole thing should take no longer than 40 minutes. 

During the singing session, you will be asked to sing a few vocal (range) exercises, sing the Doxology (taught at the interview), and sight read a short selection. 

Should my parents come?

If you are under the age of 18, then yes, we will need your parents to be involved with this process. You are not legally able to sign documents until you are 18 years old, so your parents will have to approve your position and sign the appropriate documents.

If you are 18 or older, then you are able to make the decision to accept a position if it is offered to you; however, we do encourage parental participation to ensure they approve.

We welcome and encourage parents to participate in the process.
